Do you ever think about how your shopping habits affect the planet? According to Quantis, global apparel consumption was 11.4 kg per capita in 2016, which accounts for about 11 jeans and 13 t-shirts for everyone on the planet. Besides its climate impact, clothing production consumes huge quantities of natural resources like fresh water, affecting the ecosystems and human health.
Partnering up with Goodwill, we created this photoshoot titled #trashlandrebels. Our shoot focuses on the recycling of earth’s resources – let it be thrifted clothing or discarded metals. We want to encourage you all to shop less, shop second-hand, and shop to support ethical production. Be a rebel in the age of fast fashion!
